The House of Atatürk
This ornate early-20th-century summer pavilion was built by a Greek banker who was forced to leave Turkey during the 1923 population exchange with Greece
. The pavilion was then gifted to the first president of the Republic of Turkey, the revered Atatürk. The home now contains a museum of his belongings and photographs as well as the furniture he used for a total of five nights during his visits to Trabzon in 1924, 1930 and 1937.
