During the day, Hohe Mut Alm replenishes weary skiers with an abundance of regional specialties and spectacular mountain views. To truly experience the magic of this Alpine hut, however, you need to flick on your head torch and head there after dark. Get cozy with a blanket on the cable car up the Ötz Valley, then head inside Hohe Mut Alm for a night of fondue fun. Friendly waiters supply pots overflowing with gooey cheese, complemented by piles of steak, pork, chicken, prawns, and vegetables for dipping, and a local band keeps the party going until 10:30 p.m. Note: advanced reservations are highly recommended.
