‘Welcome in the Bark’
The park and beach combo, locally known as the ‘bark’ reaches its zenith of perfection at Al Mamzar. Lushly landscaped and sprinkled liberally with coconut palms, shade and white sandy beaches, it’s inlet location at the headlands of the Khor (Dubai’s Creek) just south of Sharjah, have unintentionally entitled it to a sense of seclusion that makes it a great alternative to Jumeriah Beach Park when the latter reaches capacity. Barbecue areas, kiosks, showers and a wooden castle for the kids, make Al Mamzar an oasis of fun-filled family Fridays.
