This little private church is probably the most photographed stop in Oia. Our rented house was right next to it but lower on the steps so we could see lots of people getting lots of photos. Married couples would take their photos next to it, photographers were offering workshops that included this spot. I woke up at 5.30AM to wonder when nobody else was around. Best time of day to walk around this very busy tourist destination.

Running approximately half the length of Half Moon Cay, Bonefish Lagoon measures just over 280 hectares (700 acres). This protected saltwater bay is where Holland America Line offers many of its water sports activities on the island, including kayaking and the Aqua Trax Adventure. This travel-inspired eatery got so popular that it moved to a larger space on University Avenue in August 2017. The historic MV Liemba is the oldest functioning ferry in the world, and a voyage down Tanzania’s Lake Tanganyika on this landmark is a colorful experience. On the southbound journey, the boat departs from the town of Kigoma and travels 300 miles to Zambia, where its makes its first port of call on land.
