Telluride Bear Creek Falls Trail

For a simple day hike suitable for the whole family (including if you have a child that needs to be carried), head to the south end of South Pine Street in Telluride to jump onto the two and a half mile trail that leads up to a beautiful waterfall. It is a popular trail, so it’s wide and well marked for anyone to follow. The trail gains about 1,000 feet and offers views of town along the way when able to peek through the leaves. Once up near the falls, the trees thin out and the view looks right down the narrow valley to town. For those keen to go further, press on to connect to the Wasatch Trail and Bridal Veil Basin.
