Vanita Salisbury is a Brooklyn-based writer and editor most recently holding positions as the Senior Travel Writer for Thrillist and before that as a digital editor for New York magazine. She’s written about everything from secret underground bread to up-and-coming musical prodigies for publications including Afar, Saveur, Michelin, Fodor’s, Cosmopolitan, and Elle. Guyana-born, Trinidad and Arkansas-raised, she’s passionate about accessibility in the world of travel, and is a fan of any scenario where she gets to meet animals.
