At the West Indian–inspired village at the Welcome Center on Half Moon Cay, you can shop for authentic Bahamian crafts and gifts. In a half-dozen stalls underneath thatched roofs, shopkeepers sell an assortment of straw baskets and hats as well as jewelry and other gifts. Note that these stalls, which are operated by local Bahamians, are cash only.
