Part of the Ocean Club Resorts, Opus is the sister properties shared fine dining option and located equidistant between the two -- meaning a 7 minute walk or a 3 minute shuttle ride. It specializes in local fish and seafood, which is purchased fresh from local fisherman and changes depending on what is caught that day. Expect staples like snapper, grouper and conch, however, and in season, lobster -- it's served with a delectable habanero butter. Should you care for an offering not from the sea, however, the menu also features steaks, pastas and even spicy curries.
Opus also features more than 50 different rums, and we suggest ordering a Tasting Flight with three different varieties included. If you would rather drink wine, note that Opus boasts the island's largest cellar.
Live music is another staple at Opus and the restaurant showcases local talent many nights per week.
Overall this is a romantic place to have a meal and drink followed by listening to live music under the stars and swaying palms.
