'Benvengudo' means welcome in old, Provencal dialect and it's a fitting name for a hotel that will feel like home.
Hotel Benvendgudo is a small, casual, boutique hotel just a few kilometers below the fortified town of Les Baux, in the Alpilles region of Provence. It's an excellent place to stay while exploring near by St. Remy, Eygalieres, Avignon, Oppede-le-Vieux and other Provence classics by both car and bicycle.
You'll love the lavender that lines the entrance and the pool, pools-side bar and petanque courts create the daily tradition of slowing down and enjoying those last few hours of the day before dinner.
I'd encourage you to have dinner here at the hotel at least one night of your stay and if the mistral winds aren't too strong, dining outside is the way to go.
f you're here for a few nights, then on another evening, walk over to neighboring premiere hotel La Cabro d'Or for your fine dining. Be sure to have made reservations and dress accordingly.
