Helicopter Landing on Yanert Glacier in Denali

1 Glacier Way

There’s not much that beats flying over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska, especially on a clear day. Most helicopters seat five to six people, and a typical 70-minute tour includes a landing atop Yanert Glacier. The soaring mountains and walls of arctic blue snow can look almost photoshopped, they are so picture perfect. You’ll fly over pristine snow-covered mountain ranges as well as ice falls and glacier streams. There are also opportunities to spot wildlife, including moose, bears and sheep. Remember to dress warmly, bring a camera and put on the snow boots for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
