I suppose it didn't hurt that we rolled in at 11:15 a.m., with nary another diner in sight. But when you have the complete attention of a restaurant's entire staff, and they treat you like you just purchased the whole island of Middle Caicos and decided to drop in for a celebratory lunch, it makes a teensy bit of an impression. Our official server, Dorothy, was a peach. When she noticed my futile attempts to set the timer on my iPhone camera, she took control of the situation and snapped approximately two thousand photos of our family on the outdoor patio, with the stunning vista of Dragon Cay in the background. Sure, you say, but how was the FOOD? It was top notch. Lobster bites that melted in my mouth, cracked conch that was actually chewable, and delicately grilled, local fish. And, get this: The prices were reasonable! Two sunburnt thumbs up.
