Guadeloupe’s historic open-air pavilion, informally called the Central Market, may be best known for its wide selection of island spices. But it’s also a great place to pick up fresh produce and locally made crafts that make good souvenirs, such as carved wooden serving pieces and madras-clad cloth dolls.
