After a complete devastation in 1998 after Hurricane George, this twin-steepled Catholic church positioned on Puerto Plata’s central plaza had to be rebuilt. After a remarkable effort, today you’ll once again find a peaceful respite from the city’s cacophony in its simple, whitewashed interior accented by stained-glass windows.
