Cathedral of St John the Baptist

222 East Harris Street

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is right in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District, but away from the hustle and bustle of tourist crowds. One of the city’s most historic treasures, this cathedral is a must-see from the organ pipes to the Austrian stained-glass windows. Be sure to take plenty of pictures!

Compelling Architecture of Savannah

One of the most historical town in the US. Savannah is an old port city that was actually used as a peace treaty offering during the civil war to president Abraham Lincoln. The city is so FULL of amazing colonial architecture there is not a block you can pass without being mesmerized by the insurmountable details. My favorite way to explore the city was the trolley which runs several times throughout the day and allows passengers to take excursions to explore locations and commence the tour at their leisure!
