Starting at the entrance of Halifax Harbour, Duncan’s Cove runs along the coast and makes for an easy hike with only a few hilly sections. The 7-km is one of the most scenic routes in Halifax, with rugged landscapes covered in blueberry brush and granite boulders. While out and about, scour the shores for basking seals, pilot whales and porpoises in the waves, and the bunkers that are vestiges of World War II.
