For hundreds of years, Pusser’s Rum was the official grog of Her Majesty’s Royal Navy, handed out in daily rations to British sailors from 1655 until 1970. (That name? “Pusser” is simply navy slang for “purser.”) The rum is still made using the original Royal Navy recipe. Stop at the Pusser’s Company Store, right off Waterfront Drive near the Road Town Ferry Terminal, to buy a bottle or perhaps a Pusser’s Rum cake.
