Bellevue Chopin, a small community high in Dominica's southern hills, hosts one- and three-day agritourism visits to organic growers. Once home to maroons (escaped slaves), the area went through a period of vast estates that grew citrus, cocoa, coffee, sugar cane, and coconuts. Today it's decentralized into a patchwork of small, sustainable fields, orchards, and gardens. Discover its flavors and local ingredients like the herbs used in "bush medicine."
