The open-air gondola dangles travelers above St. Lucia’s rain forest on a 2.5-hour treetop trek through the towering gum trees, ficus trees and ferns. Keep your eyes open for the national bird, the elusive Jacquot parrot, found only on the island of St. Lucia, and for the agouti, a guinea pig–like animal often seen rummaging in the underbrush.
