Bodøsjøen Friluftsmuseum—in English, the Bodø Open-Air Museum—may be hard to say, but it’s easy to reach, as it’s just a 10-minute drive from Bodø’s town center. This four-hectare (10-acre) open-air historic village includes a dozen wooden homes collected from the region, as well as farmhouses and boathouses down by the water, making it a popular picnic spot. Nearby, the small Bodin Church has foundations that date to the 13th century, and an old farming estate now serves as a cultural center with a homey café.
