Gunlock State Park
Way out in southwestern Utah, this state park includes much of the Gunlock Reservoir, providing ample opportunity for boating, watersports, and fishing for bass and catfish. Its relatively low elevation and southerly location keep temperatures mild throughout the winter, making it a great year-round destination. The spillway from the dam sends water cascading down a series of knobby red rocks, where visitors often gather around the rushing water in search of natural water slides. Just be sure to bring a change of dry clothes.
