For romantic dining, it’s hard to beat this spot just a few minutes by car from Avarua. The restaurant and bar are set in a restored colonial house, surrounded by acres of palm-studded lawns that roll down to the sea. On the lunch menu: seafood chowder, grilled halloumi (cheese) salad, beer-battered fish & chips, coconut fish curry and rib eye steak in peppercorn sauce. Or just come for cocktails on the verandah and enjoy the view and the sea breezes.
