Seal Cove

Hopkins Island, South Australia 5607, Australia

Thanks to Port Lincoln’s diverse and rich aquatic life, there are opportunities to spot wildlife in pretty much every direction you look. For the most exciting wildlife viewing, however, book a swim tour. Out in the clear waters around the Eyre Peninsula, you can get up close with one of the most playful of sea mammals, the sea lion. Set sail from Boston Bay on an environmentally responsible charter to Seal Cove, a natural habitat for Australian sea lions on Hopkins Island in the Spencer Gulf. The guides are passionate and knowledgeable about the area and its inhabitants, and they can also arrange cage-diving with great white sharks.
