Set in the green landscape of Bohuslän, this animal park focuses on breeding and protecting endangered species. Here you will meet international celebrities like the Amur tiger and the snow leopards of Mongolia, as well as local species like the Orust hen or Linderöd pig. Book a tour to see the wild animals, however they live in as natural surroundings as possible, which means they might not always be willing to show themselves to visitor. In the Ecopark, trails meander through 740 acres of fir tree forest that is being restored to native pastureland and flower meadows where indigenous birds, butterflies and insects thrive. The park has a very clear educational goal and many child-friendly activities, such as feeding the native breeds of pigs and chickens at the farm.
