Slow Down on the Black Sands
South of the island, the black beaches of the Treasure Beach area are as peaceful as it gets. There are a few well-known guesthouses and boutique resorts set in this fishing community, but tourist sightings are still few compared to the rest of the island. The beaches are no less attractive, teeming with bird life and soft black sands. There's not much to do around this beach but catch the breeze, mingle with local families and enjoy fresh seafood—some of the best in the country.
