Victoria Milko is a reporter for The Associated Press, covering Asia-Pacific. She is currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
She was previously a freelance multimedia journalist based in Myanmar, focusing on civil conflict, human rights and international development. Her reporting has been recognized by The Overseas Press Club of America, The Society of Publishers in Asia, the Human Rights Press Awards and others.
Milko is an alumni of the Columbia University DART Center Reporting Safely in Crisis Zones course. She also has a keen interest in OSINT and data-based journalism.
