María Pellicer was born in Mexico City, where she has lived her entire life. Although trained as a historian, she was fortunate enough to enter the world of magazines—and stayed there. She has worked for Gatopardo and Chilango before becoming editorial director of Travesías. Her favorite destinations are Brazil and Japan.
