Andrea Zelinski is a North Carolina-based travel journalist who covers travel news, industry trends and the experiences shaping modern travel. A former cruise editor for Travel Weekly, she’s sailed on around 30 ships—both massive and modest—over the past three years. Earlier in her career, Andrea covered state politics for Texas Monthly, the Houston Chronicle, the Associated Press, and other outlets. When she’s not reporting, she’s usually chasing her next adventure in the mountains after having thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail in 2020 and the Pacific Crest Trail in 2025.
