The Ask

Continue the momentum for the Chase United family of cards among Afar’s audience, leveraging editorial destination expertise to promote the benefits of the Chase United Club Infinite and Quest Card along with access to the breadth of global destinations from United.

The Solution

Afar’s video platform is our fastest-growing medium. Together with Chase United, we launched a suite of eight new editorial videos, distributed on YouTube and Facebook, that brought our popular monthly Where to Go Next column to life in a dynamic new way.

In this series, we thematically aligned Chase United Club Infinite and Quest Card with popular regions and topics — from Family Travel to Scandinavia, Asia, Europe, and more. For added synergy, all destinations in each episode aligned with key United hubs. Both Chase United cards were integrated seamlessly within the video with title card branding as well as a custom, Afar-produced interstitial that promoted card benefits and a special sign up offer. Dedicated destination-focused emails spotlighted three of the featured destinations in the series and drove a direct call to action to encourage card applications.
