Laura is a writer who grew up in Colorado and now lives in San Francisco. She has contributed to publications ranging from the New York Times “Modern Love” column to O, The Oprah Magazine, Gourmet, and Vogue. She has been a contributing editor at San Francisco Magazine, More, Sunset, Craftsmanship Quarterly, Good Housekeeping, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Much of her work focuses on women’s health, medicine, travel, climate change, social justice, personal essays, and food as a way into the hearts of other cultures.
