When traveling, there is something intrinsically special about viewing local wildlife. Unscripted and unexpected, in many ways it's an opportunity to interact with the true locals. This list is a collection of shots from around the globe that highlight wildlife as it appears to the traveler, and it features many animals I've either seen in person or that are up towards the top of my list.
