The Best Places to Drink in Napa Valley
Collected by AFAR Editors, AFAR Staff
With all the opportunities to drink in Napa—the vineyard tasting rooms, the scores of gourmet food halls and general stores that carry wine and beer and spirits, the craft cocktails served at welcoming hotel bars—a person could die of thirst before they can decide just where to go. After all, much of the Napa Valley is dedicated to grape-growing, wine-drinking, and the culture of wine. Here are our favorite wine cellars, lounges, patios, brewpubs, and bars in the Napa Valley to help you slake that deep need for refreshment. (Not surprisingly, perhaps, in a region known for as a culinary hotspot, many of these places also serve award-winning meals with their wine, beer, and cocktails.)
