Although statistically, El Salvador looks like a hotbed of homicide, those travelers that dare to challenge its undeserving reputation by visiting are rewarded with lush nature, unique arts, ancient and modern history and some of the friendliest people in the world. Below is my challenge to all those people who say there's nothing to do in San Salvador and that it's too dangerous to visit!
