Secret Dalmatia

I had come to Dalmatia at age 4. I remember swimming in the Mediterranean, getting stung by a bee, and seeing an almond tree for the first time. I'm glad I had the chance to get back and make new, grown up memories. Unbelievable food, check. Amazing wines, check. Old rocks and more history that you'll ever retain, check. Lovely locals, check. Lakes with the most intense shades of blue, turquoise and green, check. I could go on and on ...but you'll just have to see for yourself!

The lines between historical monuments and living spaces are often blurred in Croatia. It's not uncommon to walk into a bar that puts pillows out on the ancient steps of a roman palace, or a restaurant that uses sarcophagi as space dividers. And...

I loved eating my way through Croatia and must have put on 10 pounds in 6 days. One of the most memorable culinary highlights was eating and drinking at Bibich Winery.

Driving to Bibich is already a treat, as it is located in the picturesque...

One of Dalmatia’s most underrated cities, Šibenik is finally being recognized as an exciting coastal destination. Its medieval heart is a stone maze of steep alleyways dotted with charming squares and hidden cul-de-sacs, not to...
