The Midlands Meander is a region of farms, restaurants, artisan shops, historical monuments, and craft breweries dotting the countryside located just over an hour outside of Durban. Most attractions aren't found in the guidebooks (yet) which is why wandering region is one of the most unique ways to spend a weekend in KwaZulu-Natal. The Midlands also makes for a great place to stay en route to the nearby Drakensberg Mountains.
