Commander Bond was half Swiss (on his mother's side) and some of the franchise's most awe-inspiring scenes have been filmed in Switzerland: Goldfinger's famous car chase, Goldeneye's dam jump, and the Blofeld Headquarters from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
