On a recent visit to Puerto Rico, I toured Old San Juan with Pablo Garcia Smith, manager of Spoon Food Tours, a local company that introduces visitors to local restaurants hand-picked for quality, Puerto Rican authenticity, and their use of local ingredients and recipes. Pablo introduced me to some really great food—as well as to the people who prepared it—and he was also a fount of knowledge about the history and culture of the island.  I’m pleased that we are able to provide Pablo’s take on some of our favorite restaurants in San Juan.
