Los Cabos is one of Mexico's agricultural hubs, producing many fruits and vegetables, including grapes and tomatoes, thanks to its climate. For this reason, many restaurants have embraced the farm-to-table philosophy, and chefs complement the from-the-field fare with fresh catch from the sea, as well as wine from the Baja region. Casual eateries predominate, but there are upscale options, too, often (though not exclusively) found at the area's resorts. During high season, reservations are strongly recommended for the most popular restaurants.
