Some of the Coolest Suites in Vegas Are Now Available at Crazy Discounts
One of the best-kept secrets about Las Vegas hotels is that you can find amazing deals during the summer. Yes, really. Occupancy sags in the summer months because the 120-degree desert heat deters some travelers. Most years, this means you can get anywhere from 10 to 30 percent off standard room rates at many hotels. This year, however, one hotel in particular has deepened the discounts to 50 percent and has added many of its most iconic suites to the mix.

That hotel, Palms Casino Resort, has built a promotion around the initiative, and dubbed it the “Suite Summer Sale.” While most resorts don't make their best suites available to the public, reserving them for rated gambles, this hotel is offering up some of the coolest and most famous villas and suites in the whole city. Of course, the sale also is a big deal because it means you can get a stunning suite for as low as $400 per night midweek and $800 per night on weekends. According to the property vice president and general manager Jon Gray, the promo is available for stays from now through August 31. Here’s a closer look at the villas and suites that are eligible.

A dry sauna, glass elevator, private gym, and rotating bed rank among the amenities in this two-story, 9,000-square-foot villa that sleeps up to 12. But perhaps the biggest draw is the hot tub that is cantilevered over the side of the building, providing jaw-dropping views of the Strip and beyond.

You don’t have to be a seven feet tall to enjoy this 10,000-square-foot palace, but considering that it includes a basketball court and three extra-long Murphy beds (as well as two regular beds), giant stature doesn’t hurt. The suite also has its own locker room and a private lounge with a pool table.

This 3,000-square-foot suite was an unheralded star of MTV’s The Real World Las Vegas, which aired in 2002. Guests today will recognize the communal bathroom, huge full kitchen, and “confessional” room—all of which remain as they were on TV. The suite also includes a pool table and wet bar.
