Tucked in the alley way off of Hyman Avenue walking mall downstairs is a great Latin restaurant called Zocalito’s. It may be hard to find but once you do, you have to try their mojito. They have the classic mojito or try one of their flavored mojitos. I always opt of the raspberry mojito that is made with fresh raspberries that are muddled and added to the mojito for a tangy concoction. They serve it with an oversized red straw so that the chunks of raspberry won’t clog your drinking apparatus. Combine that with their Latin infused food for a palatable experience. Whenever my friend is in town we treat ourselves to the Chorizo & Poblano Cheese Dip. It is essentially a vat of warm bubbling cheese with tortillas as a mechanism for shoveling it into your mouth. It can’t be good for you but it sure does taste good.
