Atop San Francisco’s Nob Hill is San Francisco’s gorgeous Grace Cathedral. Certainly you should check out the mosaics by Jan Henryk De Rosen, the replica of Ghiberti’s Gates of Paradise, two labyrinths, and stained-glass windows. But for something a little different, come for Yoga on the Labyrinth, held every Tuesday evening (except during the holidays) from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. You’ll join several hundred people of all ages and abilities, faiths and affiliations, who commune in the darkened cathedral. Colorful mats cover the labyrinth, the aisles, and even the altar. Class begins with a brief reflection, and is led by a well-known San Francisco yoga instructor. Class is free but a donation of $10-$20 is appreciated. Namaste!
