Hong Kong has a scene of "private kitchens." They're not full-on restaurants. Sometimes they can be a literal kitchen in someone's apartment, sometimes they can be a place where no one lives, and the whole residence is used as a stage.
Yin Yang, and its owner/chef Margaret Xu, is more like the latter. The dining space is a beach house tucked away in Ting Kau Village. You take a cab to a nearby hotel, and then you have to get directions to walk down the combination of alleys, stairs, and an elevator to get where you're going.
Once there, Ms. Xu serves food as local as it gets. She owns a farm of her own, which provides the produce. She smokes her chicken in an earthware oven. She serves fish caught in the bay just outside.
