For avid bird watchers finding a place like this must come easy but for others I am glad to help share the beauty I discovered in Yerette | The home of the hummingbird and in meeting one of the hosts at the house, Mr. Theodore Ferguson.
Theo describes the hummingbird as "Magical”

Visits to Yerette is by appointment only. Clear directions would be provided to you via email from the hosts. Although some of the roads are unmarked, the email is clear in identifying this and guiding you through.

We enjoyed an informative and captivating account of hummingbirds history and presence worldwide and in Trinidad and Tobago together with informal chats and a slide show presentation that shared details on all 17 species of hummingbirds native to Trinidad and Tobago.
Groups from 2 persons up to 20 are entertained |Three times daily (although Theo mentioned that the number of daily groups vary)
Our visit included delicious snack plate with some juice. Tea and coffee were available throughout our time there.
