The view from Kopra Ridge in the Annapurna region
Kopra Ridge is a highlight of a trek in the Annapurna region. It offers great views over the Himalayas and it is WAY less crowded than the Everest region. There’s also a lot more variation in foliage in the region, compared to Everest. There are hillsides of giant ancient rhododendrons and old growth forests on the way to the snow covered passes above the tree line.
