As corny as it is, you can't help but start humming Tiptoe Through The Tulips as you drive down a two lane road to get to Oregon's version of a tulip festival.
Visiting rows and rows of tulips made its way to my bucket list years ago when I saw a photograph of the tulip festivals in Amsterdam. And while Oregon's 40 acres of tulips are mild when compared to Amsterdam's 2500 acres, it's still worth the drive.
As we made our way down each row, we continued to choose a new favorite. The red ones. No, the pink. It's easy to get lost in the beauty each has to offer. And when you just can't decide, take a bouquet home with you as a reminder of all you saw. You can cut your own, or take a pot, bulbs and all, as a souvenir to always remind you of how beautiful a few thousand tulips can be.
