Wisconsin Maritime Museum
Nestled almost halfway between Green Bay and Milwaukee, along Lake Michigan, is the town of Manitowoc. The maritime museum gives a comprehensive overview of the dairy state's nautical past. From wooden models to speed boats to a WWII submarine, you could very will find your visit lasting 2-3 hours. There's also an interactive children's learning area for elementary age kids. Guided tours are given aboard the USS Cobia.
