This SUMMER ISLAND destination hotspot swells to 40,000 plus residents and visitors each July and August, but shrinks back to about 10,000 in the off-season months. Catch a glimpse of what a Nantucket winter is like when the Island nicknamed the Grey Lady as it wears winter white.
It doesn't happen all too often, but next time you see SNOW in this Island forecast, book a last minute ticket on ISLAND AIRLINES or the HYLINE FERRY and see a different side. While many restaurants and shops have closed their doors for the season, the island is still full of lively nightlife in the few that are still open.
Between the months of January and March, this means Pi Pizza, Lola 41, Dune, and the Chicken Box.
