Wild Plum Tea Room
Nestled along the Great Smoky Mountains Arts and Crafts Community route, this iconic stalwart has been a local lunch favorite for over three decades. The homey log cabin interior spills out onto a dog-friendly open-air patio that melds with the surrounding forest, creating the ideal atmosphere to dine on Wild Plum’s lauded chicken salad, lobster pie, or seasonal veggie platter. Inspired by Alpine tea houses in Austria, the light, vegetarian-friendly fare is served with ample Southern hospitality. Advance (not same-day) reservations are highly recommended, or expect to wait for a table. The last seating is 20 minutes before 3 p.m.
