Stroll Through the Wilanów Palace, Gardens, and Park
Referred to as “the Polish Versailles,” Wilanow Palace and its surrounding gardens and park are pretty extraordinary. Originally built in the Baroque style, Wilanow Palace was constructed for King John III Sobieski in the 17th century, and its interior has been lavishly expanded since then, decorated with numerous paintings, frescoes, and chinoiserie. The palace’s two-level garden features ornate pathways, fountains, and sculptures, and east of the garden in the park you’ll find a lake complete with cascades.
