Picking up Flowers and Lunch

Across from Lafayette Square and the Oval Office, White House staffers and Federal employees often flock to the White House Farmers' Market on Thursday afternoons between 11:30am and 2pm to grab a lunch. From May to November, shop at this open-air market for locally grown fruits and vegetables, all-natural meats and dairy, seafood, breads, flowers, as well as gelato and handmade pastries.
