White Bay, on the sleepy island of Jost Van Dyke, has one of the Caribbean’s prettiest secluded beaches. You can reach it by road from Great Harbour, but many visitors arrive by boat, just dropping anchor in the quiet cove and swimming ashore. White Bay’s handful of rum shacks are beloved by yachties cruising the islands, and they’re also a popular hangout for locals. Its most iconic watering hole, the Soggy Dollar Bar, is known as the birthplace of the Painkiller cocktail.
